uh-oh??? what does that mean

I think he's referring to this being asked many times before and a lot of different answers being given.

Basically a good quality 10w/40 semi-synthetic is the best all round. There's lots of info on the site about oils, have a search and you'll find what you need.

HTH.

I litterally do 500-1000 miles a year so will seldom change the oil, how many litres does i take?? I should know this really and what about filter

We even have our own Trader to ask....................................http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?115-OPIE-Oils

Guy is a top bloke if you need to ask any real questions.

Apart from that a search on the forum will reveal as many opinions about oil as there are members.

imho with that low milage ide go for a middle of the road semi-syn and change it every year. personaly i think its better to drop good oil on a regular basis than hang on to fantastic oil and let it absorb moistuer...but thats me:wink:

I reckon I agree Bri.....

.....So on that basis; with your relatively low mileage, stick with Castrol Magnatec 10w40 (about £25 for 4.5 litres in Halfords). You need just short of 4 litres for a full change with filter on a twin turbo - oh and ALWAYS stick with the Nissan original oil filter and you won't go wrong!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
