They've been wiggled, WD40'd, tapped, and they ain't playing ball.

I need to remove the arms to get repainted.

Nuts undone and folded the arm up and down and all sorts. Maybe I'm being a lefty about it and just need to get involved and not be scared of it.

I ask as I vaguely remember a windscreen fitter saying some cars need a tool thing to remove some arms. Odd.

That's the fella! Can't the club purchase one and rent out to needy idiots like me?! Think ill use it 3 times (for the z) and then forget where I put the thing when I need it again in 10 years time!

make sure you leave the nut on a good few threads when you eventually comes free, or you will end up with a blade in yer face lol.

Bri you have a tool for everything mate:thumbup1:

LOL i do Gazza mate...they give me a long one:w00t:

There is a bodge it option for fellow cowboys out there!

Loosen the nut, but leave it on a few threads.

Leave the spanner on the nut.

Wrap some wire of some sort around the spanner and wiper arm.

Lever against the spanner using a hammer or crowbar.

The nut has a lip which the spanner sits on.

It needed a fair amount of force, but it worked a treat for me.

Ahhh, like what you've done there! I've managed to get the front off after lots of messing around and swearing and blah blah but the back isn't budging. Once it stops raining I'm gonna give this a try.

Is it worth asking around now for bootlid dent removal and new rear glass?!? Ha :tt2:

Don't know if you have one floating around, but I often use my brake flaring tool, quite similar to the puller shown above.
