Nice work bud, I'd be well pissed off if I wasn't hitting well over 500 on this setup and I'm sure your the same, otherwise if you wasn't aiming for over the 500 mark standard cams ect would be fine ;)

Id say over the 600 mark with them turbos and a decent map, though haven't seen anything on the injector side mentioned yet, or what intake set up you are going to be using.

I take it you have a big brake set up to stop this thing once it gets going? lol

Really liking this build & thread. No need to speculate on the power output, it will be sufficient :D

i'm not doing that for 2 reasons really .. Tools .. u need some nifty Press and aligning tools to take out put back and then put in New valve Seats and cut them

and then the other will be just down to Cost of it .. .. really

Hi.....what I meant was once you have removed the valves/springs/collets etc from the head then looking into the port you see the end of the valve guide sticking out into the port. Now I am on about removing/grinding away the bit of guide as well as some of the head/boss in the port. I have seen a few and have a spare set of heads which have been done in this way. I will try and get a pic for clarity. Cheers

it doesn't realy matter what the dyno numbers say its what the butt dyno says at the end of the day, theres plenty of big horsepower motors out there that are laggy as you like, from everything ive read youive got a well balanced package there, the tubs are big but the gtx range are real fast spooling compared to oldschool turbos, and the 2.5 inlet mods really seem to cut down on spool time and increase the engines ability to breath those turbos in efficiently, as im sure you have been doing this tendancy to go for the 3" exhaust system with the 2.5" inlets is very popular in the states and they are getting better power curves aswel as numbers out the vg because of it. Its a great shopping list and looks like you've been doing some research, I hope it works well for you.

yep i get you .. but the only Problem i see there is Support for the valve its self .. with High RPM wouldn't the valve start to wobble a little more with the extra bit removed

on a plus side it would make Porting loads easier thats for sure

I am also with you on that one, maybe for a sponsered race car that can be torn down frequently but for my "reliable" street I think I will keep the full guide. Yip, cant wait to start my build.
