Hi guys,

 

Want to black my rear window, rear quarters and doors.

 

It's a white car.

 

What colour should I get, there seems so many light, mid, dark in smoked or limo black.

 

Got a white and black thing going on lol, but don't wanna get something I can't see out of or looks silly

 

So what have u got....

You would be best to do the rear sides and back in dark smoke or limo tint, and by law your only allowed 30% tint on the front side windows. When i tinted my saph, the front barely made any difference so i would say hardly worth doin. Should look really good on a white zed.

I have 2 shades lighter than limo, with a purple tinge on all screens, except front..... lol

 

It is a little hard for night driving but has an awesome contrast against the silver body....

Terry, they do tinting at Custom Exotics if you need someone to do it. No idea on price or anything but might be worth a call.

Dont bother doing the fronts makeslife hard.

Ordered some dark smoke only ordered 3meter length by 76cm.

The new boot I have is done already lol so that's a result.

 

Only bought a little bit gonna have a look at the colour, and see how hard it is to do.

Otherwise I'll let a professional do it, like custom exotic thanks for letting me know.

U think it will look ok with just rear quarters and rear screen done or will it look odd.

The fronts are slightly tinted from factory so will be fine its how mine is

Got to have 75% vlt (visable light transmisson) through the front windows as most cars these days come with tinted glass as standard then any tint you put on the front drive and pas dop glass will be illegal unless its clear security film .!!! as for the rears any shade you like is allowed you can even get the black paint out lol . .

Just out of intrest what prices are you getting quoted to supply and fit rear screen and rear quater windows .I had mine done profesionaly 7 years ago it was £220 then for med smoke on a swb.

rear 3 windows including tint from me would be £140 any of the 4 shades I have here to give you a rough idea and I know there are people cheaper out there everybody seems to have a mate thats doing it these days lol .
