Hi guys,

New member here, I'm from Australia and was on the aus300zx forum, whenever someone would link to this website I couldn't view it, so I finally decided to create an account .

I've been purchasing quite a few parts to restore my Z, she is a 2+2 Silver (LWB) TT, that was unfortunately stripped by a mechanic who I had taken the car in for a service (looooong story).

So I'll be hanging on the classifieds and the wanted section quite a bit, as shipping is actually fairly reasonable expect to see me purchasing quite a few things.

What was stolen from the car:

Engine and all related parts.

Transmission.

ECU.

Driveshaft.

Exhaust.

Apexi AVCR Boost Controller.

Few other misc parts.

And most importantly, MY MOOLAH :asshole:.

So my plans are to import a fully built engine and possibly transmission from America or UK, and find all the other parts through TT.net and this website.

I have already sourced most of the parts, so I'll try and keep everyone updated through the process :).

This will be a bit slow though, as I work quite a few hours at the Crown Casino over here in Melbourne, and I'm trying to keep up with my studies of Video Games Design and Interactive Entertainment.

Pictures will be uploaded later once I read how to do it :D.

Nice to meet you all! (Kinda)

Aidan

Hello & welcome :thumbup1:

Bad deal with the loss of parts though :mad2:

well ive got a manual conversion kit over here, but think postage to Australia would be large, its already £95 with in the country lol

anyway welcome to the club matey and get some pictures up as soon as you can, doesnt matter what state of repair the old girl is in, we love pictures.

Welcome to the club, really sorry to hear about your lady, hope you can get her sorted, did you go round to the mechanics with a few mates and offer him a game of baseball using his head as the ball?

It was actually thought of, as the list of people who had been stooged over was about 10, there were plans to break into the shed and take everything, however we wanted to do things by the law and waited for the police, and surprise surprise nothing was done, it is a veeeeery long story but I did manage to get the main body back, it was dumped outside my house at 4am in the morning with a bunch of pizza cutter rims (the space-savers) and I haven't been able to find him since.

Thanks for the kind welcome guys! This place is quite a bit larger than the aus forum, surprising to see so many members and awesome rides :D.

Vodkashots I have a manual conversion part sourced in my bundle from America, but if anything falls flat (hopefully not haha, don't want anymore delays :( ) you will be the first I call.

Cheers guys!

Aidan
