............ Well sort of ! Haha.

Obviously getting a lot of white smoke out the back, the amount of water still in the exhaust pipes was a surprise. It started as soo as the pressure had dumped the water over the floor. Seems to run smoothly however if I rev it a bit it nearly stalls as the idle recovers to normal, seems to be idling about 700ish rpm.

Main drama I have the engine still runs after the key has been removed, it turns off after about 30 seconds. I think the turbo timer is knackered as the screen on it is saying zero!

Cheers Steve, hopefully it's all plain sailing from here. Got MOT jobs to do on it now as it expired last week.

I'm just really hoping the water hasn't caused some unseen damage, the bit of rot on my drivers rear arch has doubled in size since!!!!!!

Hi Pete,

Rears are ok, don't know about the fronts yet as need to get a new carpet before I put them back in. The passenger didn't before I took it out tho.

glad it started rob, as other have said give EVERYTHING a good clean, gentle revs and hold the revs to help blow her out

That's very good news Rob - so it might not be so bad after all mate...!!

Good luck; I hope you get it back to normal soon and not at too much cost,
