Just received a hks oil filter, i got suckered in to better oil pressure and better filtration claims . Only £20 has any one else used one of these, there a bit shorter than a nissan one as well.:yes:

can go with the filtration claim but better pressure sounds iffy mate...plus 20 notes would not have me buying one tbh.

why bother... Jeff had original Nissan ones for a fraction of that price.

 

not sure if those claims are possible unless the filter (with finer filtration) is the last thing before the oil goes back into the pan!!

 

finer filtration = more resistance, so if the pressure gauge is between the filter and the pump then yet it will see it as higher pressure but that isn't doing anyone any good particularly the pump!!!

I have one on my swb but it will be comming of soon as I have one of Jeffs Nissan one's to go on.

The HKS filter is a good piece of kit and I would buy another in the future.

yea i agree thats more pressure by starvation..kinda like putting your finger over the end of a hose pipe
