Its not what you think...

There was i standing, looking out of the patio window, still daylight, when all of a sudden, not 6 feet from me, i see the biggest f**king RAT!! not walking, running or scampering, but STROLLING across my decking.. I was so shocked by the time i got my iphone out (not to throw at it) but to take a picture, the little sod had wriggled out the end and disappeared under the Decking. From the title, this was the first time i'd seen one of these little b@stards in the wild. After looking where he went i found what looked like a rabbit run..it was THAT Big, and he's living under MY Decking. So. tomorrow, up comes some decking strips and down goes the Rat Poison...Be warned, experts say that no matter where you are, you are no further than 6 feet away from a rat...now i believe him.

Should try fishing at my local lake mate, it used to have a real rat problem. Sorted now but you still get the occasional bugger trying to nick your bait. There not scared of humans either.

I live next to a stream/crook type thing, they are everywhere, have had a good few in my house too, several I have shot in the head with an air rifle, and when I was re-boarding my kitchen ceiling not so long back, a humongous corpse fell out of the ceiling and hit me in the face, shortly followed by another one, (which I put under the windscreen wipers of my mates civic type r, and he's shit scared of rats, haha). That's the problem with decking, they love it under there. I cemented a hole in my wall up once, and the mortar had pretty much gone off completely, but one of the buggers still somehow chewed right through it and got back in. I get mice too, but I catch them in humane traps and let them go. Also, one of the ones I shot, it's stomach was writhing with babies inside, got it just in time.

just as well they dont watch porn..they would be breeding 3 fold the dirty little fvkers they are:hurl:

Guys , thanks for your kind words..did some searching on YouTube, my god!!Rats are everywhere!! one guy in the states (Louisiana) gets $5 per tail...and he goes out in his airboat and gets about 6000 a month.. the Govt even pay for his petrol..

CB..I want that Cat!!! the rat he's,,,er holding...is the same one as mine... Lifted up the decking by the Run i found. Put down a sweet concoction.. Decking back, block up the run. lets see what happens. I'll be going round the deck blocking up all holes etc, 'cos at the other end i found another rat hole... that ones next...

Had an idea, what if i get an infra red video cam, and scan the decking for their warm bodies.. pull up some strips and exterminate...
