Sadly my exhaust had seen better days from my car not being used, started getting a few rust spots. The middle pipes had rusted at the joins but I had a spare stock one. I didn't want to change the back boxes as I've always loved the note - just loud enough to not be heard in the car :)

So decided to strip them, rust treat them and then the boys at Custom Exotics welded up and patched the bad bits and then gave them a protective coat of a high temperature paint they use. Also a massive thanks to them for all the P** taking for the days I spent polishing the exhaust tips!!! lol

Your exhaust looks great,

I wanna do the same thing, I have a greedy/trust exhaust and boxes are stainless but pipes are not.

What paint did you use, will any high temp paint do.

A while is an understatement!! lol

Can't remember the name but I was just gonna use high temp can stuff but he had some stuff he's used on exhausts and brakes that was applied by gun. Can ask on Monday.

If u can find out would be great, I hate painting with a brush lol. sounds good with a spray gun.

Its just a sprayable VHT paint that we get mixed better quality than the can stuff its supplied by leonard brooks in Harlow he will post stuff if you need it call rick on 01279 417501
