Anyone know a good place to get a valuation on my car for the insurance company?

Ask Jeff at Zedworld on here

That was my first thought, but the form states that I'm not allowed to use anyone who has worked on the car and Zedworld have.

Zclub.net offer a Vehicle valuation service recognised by Insurers.

But Mike Harris is now in Aus and is essentialy a 240Z man.

Dont see how thats going to work

thats strange .... shouldn't make any differents who's worked on it to do a valuation

I agree; very odd. After all, someone who has worked on the car should have more extensive knowledge of its condition....

....Yup, drop Steve Burns a PM or visit the Zclub and ask directly.

I have just taken out a new classic policy with Lancaster Insurance and whilst they charge £15 for the agreed value add-on, they offered to do the valuation for me based on the shed load of pictures I e-mailed over. But if their valuation does not agree to mine, I will be asking Jeff or the Zclub for a second opinion!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Jeff has worked on mine, and he supplied me with a valuation which my insures accepted:yes:

Just get Jeff to do it and don't tell the insurance company he has worked on it

Did'nt know about the move to Australia....but the Club has been promoting the valuations to Z32 owners for years.

yep I know Dave.

But I question the validity by a guy(and a mate) who has virtually no experience of 300ZXs.

I reckon we should have our own valuation officer.

Very good point Pete..... We are the UK's major 300zx Z32 owner's club so perhaps this is something we need to be thinking about for the future!!

Thanks Pete! I think it's great if 300zx.co.uk has it's own officer but really unfair to claim Dave knows nothing about 300zx's. He's done the ZClub proud for many years doing valuations for all the Z models.
