hey hey, my zx needs some tlc and i need to either get it fixed or get rid of it. i started the rocker cover gasket replacement and haven't completely finished it. ive got the passenger side gasket done and haven't got the time now to do it myself. the car is garaged but it needs to go from there soon. if anyone knows of a reputable auto shop anywhere in or near Manchester that knows about the zx would be much appreciated. ive checked around and found that they either don't want to do it or they don't know what they are doing.

thanks.

Fix it if you can mate, there have been so many zeds going to the scrappy and being torn down lately that it seems like the whole scene is spiralling out all together, they are pain in the ass cars to live with, mine for example is a miserable bitch but im just going to do all I can to keep her alive you will miss it when its gone!

I'm in Manchester mate, ex mechanic, got my engine out at the mo tho, rebuilding it, and the engine bay stripped getting ready for me to spray it, crazy busy at the mo, but could help you some time in the near future to at least get her driving if you like? Can't guarantee a specific time as of yet, everything is ars3 over t1t at minute for me!....

Ask for Phil who's worked on many Zeds before

thanks alot for the info, i'd really rather get it fixed and keep her tbh but

Tudor, that would be much appreciated, let me know when if possible. i could come down and have a look a look at your ride. I may have some extra time, the house where its parked at has scaffolding up and its stuck in till they come down :D depending on how long it is its either help from you or give it to get fixed.

and has anyone heard of steve batt from silverline racing from Staffordshire? i found corresponding emails to him when i intended to rebuild the engine with more power. but i am not sure what would be best.

thanks fellas
