Hi guys, just an update on our old pal Chunk, he has today had an operation to remove the leg that was so badly damaged all those years ago and should now bring to a close a long and painful time for him, hope you'll join me in wishing him well.

Not heard how things have gone yet but hopefully its all good...

Cheers

Steve

I dont know him but I wish him well :thumbup1:

Did he have a car accident Steve?

Some one knocked him off his motorbike, smashed his leg real bad, had over 20 ops in about 9 years, top bloke he is, used to be on the Z scene big time but now seriously into Drifting

Wow, that was a long time back, I knew it was bad but I didn't think it would ever come to that. Hope he gets better soon.

Don't know the bloke (before my time) but that sounds nasty, hope he makes a speedy recovery from his op.

Yes please give him all our best, I remember my Grandma, she practically begged the doctors to remove her lower leg because of diabetes as it was giving her so much pain, sounds strange but she was so happy and upbeat afterwards .

i remember Chunk he was a great laugh, had no idea this happned to him, please send him my warmest regards and speedy recovery

Give him my best wishes too...met chunk a few times and top bloke.

Send him my regards as well. He helped me out a few times when I was a newbie to the Zed scene !

Alan........

I have wished him all the best on Facebook, the drift scene has done a big best wishes thing on there too,

I still keep occasional contact with Rich. He rolled my arches on the slicktop earlier in the summer.

He was Midlands organizer when I joined in 2004. He was in a wheelchair then. Back then people like Onslow/Steve J. Ivan aka the Dark Warrrior and me used to push him round at events at Santa Pod.

Its fair to say he was a good organizer and general good bloke who has had to put up with lots of problems in his life.

He didnt see eye to eye with some of the main committee members back then and left the club. But thats all water under the bridge now.

Give Chunk my best wishes, when I first joined the forum he was one of the main poster's and always having a laugh. He even popped along to one of our Z meets at Stirling while he was up here on holiday.
