how drivable are they for every day driving? Any opinions based on personal experience greatly appreciated.

My clutch has started slipping today & have always run a RPS street clutch.

I have a new puck clutch in my garage (unknown make) that I could fit but was wondering what it was like on a day to day basis - to be honest I use the car daily but mainly short runs & it doesnt get too much abuse, an occasional blast but not much more.

Ive had one for years now,it will wear quick with day to day use but i got mine refurbed quite cheap, bottle of JD cheap, they can be a pain in traffic if im honest as the urgency takes some getting used to.Once youve done some miles youll get used to the on off nature. If i was closer mate id let you drive mine.

I have a 6 puk in mine done no miles in it but moving it up my drive its very on off instead of a normal clutch very responsive

I had a 6 puck and a 5 puck one from jeff. Personally I absolutely hated it and though it was rubbish. Completely spoilt the car for me, far too on/off so to speak

Thanks guys, perhaps I will sell the puck clutch & get a normal disc?! Anyone interested in a puck clutch & lightweight flywheel?? LOL :)

or shall I just try it & see?!.......... descisions, descisions...

keeping with a standard disc clutch I have always used RPS - anyone tried these options:

Assuming the cover is still okay mate, just order a new disc from specialtyz.

Quick delivery and cheap posting for that.

Hi Paul, if you haven't got huge amounts of power, I'd stick with a regular clutch. I had to reverse my car uphill and it brought tears to my eyes doing it. Having to use 2k revs or more to pull away on the flat is a bit tedious and probably makes other motorists think you're a ****. Not to mention the amount of times you'll inadvertently stall the damn thing.. I'm going to persevere with mine however, as once the power gets to where I'm hoping, I'm sure it'll be good to have. For regular everyday use, a normal clutch is the way forward - literally!
