If it proves that my turbos are knackered, what are my options? Should I get the standard ones refurbished or do I buy some new units from ebay, probably Chinese. They are meant to be upgrades for the 200SX, but are under £200 each.:confused1:

ive just rebuilt mine myself mate.

Did you buy cartridge kits, how much did it cost you for both

i brought genuine garret kits as to not seemed stupid in my mind. i also added 360 degree trust bearings and steped rear oil seals. which bumped it up a fair whack, worked out incluing the vat £130 a side. then you need them balanced. its actually pretty simple, once there off the car.

Thanks for info, that's quite cheap, how can I get more power from my turbos or do I need to buy bigger ones? If so what kind and how much?

Not a bad price, how much to balance and where?

with the 380* bearing upgrade .. will allow u to run a few more PSI from the tubs ... with the correct Remap/chip/fueling

cr turbos in new milton, they have a pretty good reputation. getting the block out etc i can help you with. nut make the pcvs are in good order first. if they have failed the back pressure from the crankcase will make it difficult for the tubs to release oil into the sump. so it will go the easier path out the rear seal.
