Hi peps The guy who has silver streak has just finished refitting his engine and he also did a hicas delete with na pump etc.......but he cannot get the pas belt fitted without this being on a angle! is this normal with the hicas delete????

 

He just came around mine to have a look at my set-up [as I have also got the lightened pulley set up] and my belt isnt on an angle!!!!

 

any thoughts:confused1:

yes its because hes used the tt belt and pulley on the na pump. i think youve got to use the bracket from the na pump aswel as teh pump as it sits further forward or backwards. someone else will be along to clarify but its to do with the transition from one to the other.

As above, i think you can put the pas pulley on in reverse, to bring the angle out, but best to use an N/A belt and pulley.

There is a difference in the off-set between TT and NA P/S pulleys. If he's using the NA pump he'll need a NA pulley to bring everything back into alignment. I wouldn't recommend mounting the TT pulley the other way round. Belt will be a 3-rib belt instead of a 4-rib TT belt. HTH.
