However I want to put some samco chrome hardpipes on.

Can these types of BOVS be relocated? if so where and how difficult a job is it?

Cheers

yeah, my previous ones where down neat the intercoolers on the old recirc pipes... you will however need an adaptor..

like this (but obviously you have to get the right size)

the other option is to put them on the pipes to the TB's but again you need the hard pipes...

like this..

harby - that conceptsz kit looks like it is still only meant for the original location in front of the aircon rad.

i believe you will need hardpipes with built on flanges, as pictured by medallion man.

Youre right John. decided to leave the hard pipes until I can afford to change the BOV's for an upto date set or see some one selling a set on the forum...

Better do some more research ..lol...

BOV's dont really give any performance benefit do they? is there an advantage to having them on apart from disposing the air more quickly and making a fast and furious sound...

dense question I know but genuinely dont know the answer...

Zeds have BOVS as standard so by swapping for ones that fart and whoosh, your simply getting the noise so no benefit.

Cheers Smithy. So I could remove mine , declutter my engine bay, put some nice chrome hardpipes in and the only thing I would lose is the farting noise?

Yes providing you put the standard Nissan recirculating valves back on under the nose panel.

or, you relocate your current valves back down under the nose where they wont be seen.

i managed to knock up a set of 2x bailey dv26 valves, silicone reducers and straight alloy sections all in for £80 that sit under the nose of mine. not fussed as they're not seen, aslong as they dont leak. plus they are twin piston bovs so do the job nicely.
