Cheesed off .com .... Some punk ass **** being chased by cops on foot decided that he make a sprint in front of my van ... me having to swerve and mount the curb .. killed the wheel and tyre in one go .. had a rant at the copper he turns around and says " you should of ran him over " WTF !! why a man of the law tell me to brake the law by running him over .. for me to be done by the offender for making him my new screen ornament .. he all ready had his hands on my bonnet as i stopped ... on the up note i'm claiming against the local constabulary for 4 new wheels as i these are no longer made :)

has any one made claims off the local constabulary at all and how painful was it ?

sorry about your wheel and tire mate but how can you hold the copper responsible for what happened?? If he had been chasing him after finding him getting through your bathroom window around the corner would that make it ok?

the copper had let him go .. he had the cuffs on one hand ... but still they was behind him chasing him across the rd if i had'nt of moved it would of been all 3 off them i'd of hit him being the first

i understand your frustration but how can you sue the police for you hitting the curb by avoiding a running thief is what ime saying,if the cop car had run a red light and caused you to mount the curb then yes. Its like me sueing the fire brigade for smoke damaged undies on the line when they where trying to put Mrs smiths burning bungalow out after kids put a firework through the letterbox...You need to find the thieving Linford Christie wannabe and sue him:detective:
