Keep looking my friend, it took me 5 months to find my car. Its not perfect yet! but when you got what you want you'll be chuffed

I spent nearly £250 on HPI & such. Some cars I didn,t even get out of me van!

But now I'm well happy, be the same, these cars are so complicated and this site is so helpfull. Take notes & such. I had a result!

Hope you do to, Be brutal on the seller, running costs are as dear as you would expect of a super car, BUT little boxes & bits on the 'Zs' can be extreme shillings

We all have probs but they are overcome.

Be aware of all the ackillies heals-don't go to buy, got to be your own judge of the car.

harve.

Indeed.

And to add to what you have said, this place is really invaluable:)

Peace and lots of boost...

Took me 9 months to find my TTManual. I even went down to Poole with a good mate (who knows about cars and what can and does go wrong with them - an invaluable asset) for one of them. We rang the garage and got told that this L reg Black TT Manual was in "Mint" condition. 70K on the clock. Well, we drove down and from 50 yards away it looked immaculate...but then the closer we got the more the problems were obvious.

F'r instance, every panel had the orange peel effect on it, so I asked the obvious question of when it had been in the accident or when had it been resprayed.

"Oh it's never been re-sprayed" came the almost predictable answer.

"And the orange peel?..."

"Oh they must have used the wrong paint" was the less predictable answer....

Yeah, ok...just for this one car, the chaps at Nissan decided to ditch the usual car paint, cos let's face it, it was getting boring and go for a can of Dulux One-Coat, instead. Mmm-hhmmmm. I think not.

The boot cover was also ripped but that should have been all right because it was ripped "by the previous owner's golf clubs". Like I give a damn WHAT ripped it...it's RIPPED!

Needless to say, this was NOT the one that I bought...
