went to a local vintage show today sun was out and so was my zed, all money raised went to charity so good day all round

oh yes the fiat x-19 ,,,not a great car back then but seems to be loved more nowa days

I had a x-1/9 , but mine was a bertone not a fiat i'll have you know :)

I read an article once , someone had shoehorned a 300 engine into a x-1/9. Was tempted to merge mine

When I was kid, we were in my Dads Chevette Estate. A Datsun Bluebird (i think) pulled out of a junction in front of us. A X19, that colour went into the side of it doing some speed as well.. It hit the datsun lifted into the air, spun, shedding body parts everywhere.. The datsun had a little bump lol...

 

It turned out, he had picked it up at the garage half a mile up the road. Pulled out, stuck his foot down to feel the power.. that was it.. end of journey, car wrote off... lol...

 

Nobody had any seatbelts on, nobody was hurt... The good old days....:laugh:

 

Always had a soft spot for them since then, but the first Ive seen with the wide arch kit.. looks awesome...

Haha, he had probably been full throttle for 4 miles and reached 19mph!
