Might be a guy on the forums called Sandy that's selling this, he lives in Wishaw and breaks Zeds, not sure though.

Could be a risk taking the car on so I'd try and pay as little as possible.

Yeah it is I recognise the number. Nice bloke to deal with i've had some bits off him before

£700 - £800 seems cheap to me.

Having said that it doesnt tick any boxes for me

I paid 800 for mine in Jan. has a similar smoking problem. Wouldn't have paid much more as you need to add in the price of replacement turbos as worse case

yeah that sounds very cheap ok its smoking but how bad, and why. if its a fubared engine wellll 600?

if there is nothing else wrong with it (apart form maybe needing new turbos) then the £800 is a good price.

but remember these cars cost money to keep going and maintain...

some people on here manage to get away with very little expense.... but never ever assume that will be you!!!

I already have an NA manual with a perfectly good engine (or at least it was last time I drove my Zed), so really I'm not interested in the engine or the turbo's, as the thought was to swap the relevant parts from mine into that one, plus its taxed and tested, so I can actually drive it back (unless its smoking a lot).
