How do I stop the dashboard peeling?

When I got my Zed the dashboard was peeled back more than a banana so I found a second hand one in perfect condition and did the horrific task of swapping them.

Just back from 2 weeks away only to find my new one has started to peel in the summer heat!

Not really up for swapping it out yet again so has anyone got any tips about how to solve/fix the problem with the dashboard in place?

Sensible/proven ideas please.

You can glue it and hold it together with bulldog clips while it dries. Powertrix do a set of vents with a carbon fibre cover on it and this holds the peeling edge down and covered. I've got a set fitted, have a look through my old threads.

I tried glueing my first dash but it was a physical nightmare!

Use a syringe and a bit of vac pipe, so you can get the angle to get the glue underneath

Good plan! Guess work or tried and tested? What can I use to pin it all down flat and even while it dries?

i used carpenters mitre adhesive ... 2 part adhesive and spray.... it sets in 5 seconds so you don`t need any clamps ... i`v done it about a year ago still good :)

I had a set of the powertrix carbon chaps and i thought they were garbage. Basically a couple of bits of carbon fibre screwed to old broken oem vents.

Get some glue and hold em down with clips :)
