odbI odbII ecu

I have a UK spec '90 which i think has ODBI if im not mistaken i also have a boost controller (just incase that makes a difference)

what i would like is to use ODBII, now i think i can use a newer ECU? Is this correct. and how will that effect the boost controller ?

300zx is not ODB .......... it's Nissan's "consult"

does yours have the 8 bit processor and are you looking to upgrade to the new version with the 16 bit?

if so it's my understanding that you are better off with the 8 bit one as it's easier to modify.

But yes I think there are also piggyback and upgraded ECU's out there but why would you bother unless you wanted massive power.

You can get heaps for just a chipped standard ecu.
