Clicking brakes

Had new front and rear brake pads fitted on the car about a month ago but just recently the brakes have started to make a clicking noise as I'm slowing down for a corner or to stop. Anyone had this or got any idea what it is? Cars going back the mechanics next week but any advice would be appreciated.

Did they refit both shims per side of the pads on each caliper and the shim/caliper retaining clips x 4 per caliper.

Sometime the pins that retain the pads and spring become worn and the pads can move slightly, might be time to get a new shim kit.

mine was clicking a while back on cornering... turned out the nuts were loose on a wheel! probably not whats wrong with yours but maybe worth a check.

I'll check that tomorrow, hopefully it will be something that simple for a change

Thanks for the link. Might get that shim kit, when I got the car the brakes were in a bad state. Just funny that all 4 sides are making a clicking noise

My fronts click or crunch when fully depressed. I think its the discs being old and the shims needing greasing, with copper slip.
