Managed to fit my FMIC this weekend, despite thunder storms. The car is running fine, cant believe the power its added! Just got a couple of little issues.

First issue is, the bumper brace bar wouldnt fit back on over the FMIC, even with the middle cut out, so no more fog lights. My question is how deep are intercooler ducts? I only have about 5mm clearance between the bumper and the intercooler, and how to they fit? Do they need to be bonded or do they screw into the bumper?

Second little issue is, when i removed the brace bar i found a small black box screwed to it. I have no idea what this is or what it does, so i've relocated it and bolted it to the same place the MAF is bolted to the induction kit (see pic). Will it be OK living there?

Other than that the fitting when great, nice and smooth with only minimal trimming needed on the bumper :)

Big thanks to Jeff and Jamie at Zworld

here it is fitted before the bumper. With the Mrs cleaning the shiny bits ;)

The little black box is the external temp sensor for the digi dash display and climate control..........I know this cos I removed mine with the aircon, getting annoyed with it being -86 degrees or whatever outside on the digi display inside now so gonna put it back on at some point! It'll be just fine where you've mounted it.
