To a 2+2 and has the interior boot trim fitted around it?

Ive got a 2+2 with rear strut brace, not sure on the make, but i still have the interior panels fitted too.

I have a Carbing one fitted. YOu have to trim the boot trim to get the strut brace to fit. I can take a few pics tomorrow or give you some measurements if that helps.? I believe if you buy them new they do come with a template to aid fitting. I think that AndrewG may have one aswell, so if you that's the case he may help you out at the Beaulie (sp) meet.

Cheers for the help matey but it was specifically the carbing fitment I was after :)

Pics for you. I got the cut right by using another spare trim and roughly cutting out enough material so that the trim would sit

fixed in place with the strut fitted. I then made up a thick paper template stuck to the trim to get the exact cutting lines. The

opposite side is a mirror so just transferred the final cutting lines over. The slots are now blanked off with some of that padding

material that you find behind the boot trim panels.

 

The strut didn't come with a template. You are welcome to take measurements at Beaulieu.
