Can someone advise me as to which brake pads to buy please?

I am looking for general road use with the ability to cope with a spirited driving now and then.

The ones I have at the moment (unknown brand) only seem to be effective once they reach a certain temperature.

Trouble is, I nearly get caught out now and again so could do without the uncertainty.

I would like them to be there from the off.

Front pads by the way.

Ring up your local parts supplier? If your brakes are standard then standard brake pads should suffice I'd have thought? Mine always feel fine....? :)

Or if your feeling flush, call Nissan :s

I'm sure someone will be along with better advice soon bud, I've swapped mine for tt ones but only because it was suggested that parts are easier to source for these.....

Maybe put a spec up of your brakes so people can advise more accurately .....? :)

Euro parts number 101702418 just put some on mine at the weekend - i paid £25+Vat, RRP £59+Vat...

Rather than use euro's site try Carparts4less.co.uk they are £26 inc vat. Oh and it is euro in disguise!!!! I know i used to work for them, most things are cheaper by a fair bit.

Get onto E-bay as, if it's just stock replacements you need, then you can get a set of Brembo pads for about £35-ish delivered.

Agree - just had a set delivered today, £33 i think

Why dont you just book in for pads supplied and fitted whilst you wait and get that running problem thats driving you nuts sorted thrown in.

Very tempted Jeff, new brake pads would be great, but to guarantee to solve my running issues would be amazing to say the least!

Would you PM your price please? I will give it serious consideration.
