Sorting front end and new air filter, all going good til notice the wire mesh on the Maf is broken, any idea where I can get a replacement or will it be ok without ?

It acts as extra filtration, however many will be broken and run perfectly fine without.

Just ensure it's all gone and no bits left.

It's split in the middle at the mo, so remove it all be the best ?

If it starts to break of in bits it will only attach itself to the hot wire inside and then the car will suffer problems.

so yep either it is all in 1 piece or not at all tbh

Blitz filter going on and cobra de-cat full exhaust, do I have to do anything with ecu chip/remap or will it cope with the new bits ?

It will cope fine, but you will release more power (and prepare for a boost upgrade) if you chip the ECU now.

Ok cool, that will be on my list, the never ending one ! Lol

 

Any recommendations for which to get, where, how to fit and how much ? :)
