Hello,

I've just fitted my new aftermarket exhaust downpipes, but I'm not too sure which way round they go, they have no left or right markings.

So do they fit so they swing inwards towards the transmission or outwards towards the sills?

Thanks.

Great, that's the way I fitted them, but it's nice to be sure. :balloon:

Just to check, because hopefully the engines going back in tomorrow, weather permitting, so Itook a photo, and can people confirm this, because it's alot easier to swap over when the engines out

No, my new o2 sensors arrived today, so will be fitted before engine is reinstalled

Thanks for your help though, always nice to get another opinion. Would have been nice though if there was just am L and an R on them.

you not gonna delete the EGR as well while the engine is out? Means you can get the top 2 bellhousing bolts from the top then plus deleting out a load of old vac lines

Fear not, I have done the EGR delete, I just did it straight after taking the pic, was waiting till someone mentioned that lol

Didn't realize though that it would give me access to the top bell-housing bolts though, defiantly would make my life easier as they were a pain to remove, so was dreading trying to put them back in.
