My zed is a '91 J-spec tt. Just about to leave the garage having got a new mot after being largely out of use over the winter. However the electric ac fan (for the evaporator) has decided to run continuously. Its likely I'll have to get it to a specialist - but before I do it there anytihng that typically causes this?

Thanks

Bad connection on the engine temperature sensor, this triggers the fan to run, front of the engine two sensors fitted in the water pipe, its the larger yellow connector, unclip clean out with some WD40 or similar and refit.

Thanks chaps - turns out it was a broken wire rather than a dirty connector - but the right place!

As daft as this may sound 2003 renault megane injector connectors fit perfect as zed coolant temp sensor connectors! :)
