Hi,

Has anyone here had their dash covered?

Cheers

Yup, had mine retrimmed in leather

trimmed or flocked mate? I know people who had trimmed, and a few who had flocked. which imo looks more subtle. but gets rid of glare, and allows you to have any colour you like, with a precision finish

I'll pop some up tonight

Apologies for the picture quality. They absolutely do not justify how good the dash looks. I'll take some proper pics when i have installed the interior. You can see how the lines/stitching flows. The door cards and centre console are particularly awesome.

oooh, that looks the nuts mate.

Yup, they fit no probs. I've only test fitted bits and bobs at the mo but I'm sure it will all fit fine

Thanks BigC.

I'm looking at having mine leathered and the trimmer reckons not to stitch across the top part or it will lift in the sun. Personally I think it has more chance of not lifting if stitched like yours............ Have you fitted it in the car?

Thanks BigC.

Unfortunately not yet. I reckon another month or so before it goes in the car. The car is at the engine shop at the mo, then heading to the bodyshop. As soon as they have finished, it will be a busy weekend for me refitting the interior.

I've had every interior panel retrimmed. The work was done by transcal, check their website out. They did not have any worries over the leather lifting etc. I specifically wanted contrast stitching on the dash. My other car has a full leather dash with contrast stitching and i love it. I took a bit of inspiration from that. The stitching continues along the door cards and up the B-pillar.

Have you posted any pics of the rest of your interior?

Just thought, who suggested doing the dash in pieces with stitching, was that how you wanted it or how that decided to do it? I'm jusy really worried about lifting in the heat (when when day we have a summer)

BigC, how mch was it all in all, for dash, plastics and seats?

looks awesome imo.

Looks fan-bloody-tastic BigC , would love mine to look like that, awesome job mate!!

I asked that they used contrast stitching for the dash. Otherwise, it wouldn't look much different from stock.

We ran through some design ideas, similar to the seats, and this is what they came up with. I don't doubt their suggestions/skills in the slightest. They are a very impressive outfit.

Daz, yeah I'm well chuffed bud. It's been on the cards for years. I think you will be impressed with the finished article. The detail is superb. Down to the stitched A-pillar gauge pods.

Hopefully I'll have it at JAE

So you wanted it with stiching across the main part of the dash, where it curves? Did they ever mention lifting at all?
