Hi everyone glad to have found this forum . I have a short wheel base 300zx normaly aspirated, had it for about 14 years 10 of those it's been sitting on the drive

I'm now wanting to get it up and going again, I've run it on the drive every few months and all seems well I'm just really concerned about the timing belt . The car has done about 70000 so ,not too worn but the age scares me

So I'm looking for someone who can help me renew it (I'm not a mechanic but I'm not afraid to get stuck in if I'm with some one who know how to do these things ) also happy to help others who help me or someone to do the whole job

So please if your near by or know some one please help and let's get this one back on the road

Hi, it's good to know there's some other North Londoners on here too.

Here a pic of my car (hope the URL works) - totally original!

Surely someone must know someone who can help me with this timing belt? It's taken me 10 years to decide to put the money aside to get this fixed and if I don't do it soon the money will be gone & it will still be sitting there in 2022!

good question Big Jim ..........got a new wife, new child and a sensible car but i kept the faith, you wouldent believe how many times i was told the car had to go .

but here it is and about to get a new lease of life

Good effort bud! I had a very similar scenario. SWB na. Had it 10yrs now and it's done next to nothing for the last 6. Wife, kids, house etc. The years don't take long ticking by. Back on the case now though! :) hope you get it up and running soon.

If you need parts, I'm sure mike from MJP (trader on he forum) is north London (I think lol)

Welcome bud , looks a nice clean motor , well worth getting her on the road again :thumbup1:
