never embarrassing lifting the bonnet on a zed TT or NA.

But, got to admitt, that looks classy. I'd have it in mine :thumbup1:

You reckon you could of painted it like that without getting the whole engine out?

Very possible bud, just take the plenum off to get access to the coil covers etc....

the parts came from my spares, and were painted off the car,

the engines just out as im fitting some nice turbos... so it seemed like a good time to tidy and fit the painted parts.

without going to far of topic, much work involved in removing the plenum? anything that can go wrong? lol (other than losing bolts or sheering them off?)

That looks very nice indeed, like the colour sceme, what paint did you use for the plenum?

its a VHT paint, normally for exhaust manifolds etc, so that it can take the heat, the gold was a the hardest to get as its hard to find metallic VHT paint.

pulling the plenum is fairly straight forward, think there's a how to somewhere, id delete the water hoses under the plenum if you do as it makes it so much easier in future.

I did mine a few months ago in yellow and black, even my cam covers are yellow, lucky you to be getting it back in straight away, looks smart!
