ON THE ELECTRICS SIDE HOW EASY WOULD IT BE TO INSTALL ANOTHER SET OF HEADLIGHTS ON A ZED?

 

the body work doesnt seem too much of a problem,then again lol

 

the headlights are probably the worst part of a 300zx imo,

has anyone ever used another headlight on their zed???

Fitment issues up close will make you puke no doubt.

 

Not a modification I will be copying that is for sure

It's one of the best upgrades you can do mate :)

A 6000k H3 HID Kit transforms the light output, better than most cars on the road, especially with the insides cleaned.

 

Cost about £35 and takes about 2 mins to install, its just plug and play fitment.

how would anyone know what they will look like on a Z??? get someone to photoshop it... but think of the body work..... do us all a favour and don't butcher a Z'd.

 

the 300zx lights are so nice that Lambo used them on the diablo !!!! why would you want to change them ????

When I was deciding on bodykits I almost went for that Z-Centre quad conversion, but IMO the front of the car would have lost its character and become more of a generic modified import than a Z. Deffo go for HIDs though - they're much better than the stock candles.

plus the Audi led strips look chavvy...

all i was stating was the 300zx lights were shite , simply saying was there a light setup that someone had put on a 300zx?which was brighter and better than stock...not a hard question?

in 18-19 years of owning a zed i've never actually seen the hid kit or what it looks like in somebody elses car.looked at it online plenty of times tho , but not recently!years ago i looked into it, but back then it looked a pain in the butt to fit being a non tekky.from what replies ive had seems more plug and play now.

so question part answered and what i will now be doing...

yes.... HID kit will change your life and if you want to change the look the 99 spec kit will do that as well (but that is a bit of work).... :)

About 10 years ago there was a guy at Billing with a pretty sweet looking Zed and 1 of the unusual mods he'd done was fitting Peugeot headlights.

 

HID's though as said work a treat and cheap as chips now days too.
