Well I was tootling along my local M65 and I notice I was catching something different, thought straight away Datsun and I was not wrong.....a 180B :thumbup1:

 

Now I didn't take a picture and regretted it :no:

 

Then 2 hours later, coming back on the other side and practically in the same place, we was catching it again, I couldn't believe it and got my camera out to snap :biggrin: never ever seen it before or since in an uncanny kind of way :thumbup:

I would refuse to do any such work on this......most disappointed if this as even got one modification on the led, smd or hid lights front :biggrin:

I think when I was googling, a 180B is a Bluebird, cannot be bothered to re look and check :tongue_smilie: but I know what you mean.

My mistake........it was a 120y coupe he had, in red.they still look good now, almost like a mini muscle car :).........and its replacement could have been a violet, was a long time ago :)

Yeah, I think it looks like a 120Y bud. My very first car was a Datsun 100A FII, great car, PX'd it for a posh Datsun Cherry......lol

My Grandfather, bless him bought one of these brand new for himself and in this colour :thumbup1:

 

 

And for his daughter which is my mum, he bought her one of these below but in silver, this was the family wheels and I would borrow at 17, I recall having the twin fogs on at the back all the time like a twerp, this must be where my light fetish and everything must be equal issues have come from, harrr :blink:

I hate to admit this, but an Austin Allegro Estate in that horrible brown colour Leyland had.....lol.

This was the same as my Datsun Cherry, only mine was black with the silver stripe accross the back. Great car, although the gear box was the wrong way round, in that 1st was accross and down, rather than accross and up, reverse was where 1st should be, but it had the Nissan beep if you put it in reverse.....lmao.

Whilst I had my own car when I was 17, it wasn't always reliable. So to get to work I sometimes borrowed the old Fiat 127 that my dad bought for my mum in the hope she might learn to drive (she never did).

 

This thing was white - apart from the rust (lots of rust) - had a 903cc engine and more importantly, as I discovered when approaching a roundabout at 70mph..... No brakes!!! Once I got over the initial shock, I had no choice but to use 2nd gear!!! Boy you should have heard it revving as I came to a halt....

 

I also borrowed the 1961 Rover 100 we still owned then; one of these
