jap clocks / milage for insurance help

Dont know if am about to say something completly thick here! but i need to let my insurance company know my starting milage , i have got converted clocks on mine by the looks of it ie.

 

So does my mileage read in kms ?? and do i need to just tell the insurers that its kms ?? my limit.per year is 3k , how many kms is this ??

    Are you unsure if your clocks read in miles or kilometers?

    1 kilometer is 0.62 miles.

    3000 miles is 4828.032 Kilometers :)

    Just tell them it reads in KMs, then you can do 4828 miles instead of KMs if its running in miles :P
