Mine never passed in Germany. Would pass here in uk easy but then Germany ( on the army net) would fail. I did the pipe trick every time!

I take it is an UK spec or import over 95? If not then should be passing no dramas as should be on a non cat test.

Anyone know the below?

Which pipe is it we're talking about here? neither thread sheds much light.

The way I read it it would seem that it's the Carbon Canister pipe that you pull off. Pass side rear of the balance bar, small pipe.

But make sure that the mot station is testing your zed with a basic emissions test and not the full cat test. All pre 94 zed's regardless of being an import or not should only have to pass the basic test.

Does anybody know if Zeds are in the system at all because the MOT sheets I got with my car 96 na have been altered with a ballpoint to read 300zx but on the sheet it was tested as a 350z ??

make sure to tell them its precat. def shouldnt be trying to test it as a 350!

They must have done that because it's a post 94 I wondered if any other owners of post 94 cars have looked at the emissions readout sheet to see what the other testers have used for the database input.
