Upper plenum gasket...

Pretty daft question really, but I only put a new OEM gasket on 6 months ago, and she's only done a few hundred miles since, but I really need to lift the plenum to sort an oil leak, today ideally, but I'll have to put it back on today, I know everyone is going to say you need a new gasket, but do I really? Very simple vacuum system and water bypas done, so no big deal lifting it again to put one on at a later date...

Cheers...

trouble is if you put it on correctly and used a very thin smear of silcone sealant aswell you may find it just wont come off in one piece?

If its in good condition then you should be able to get away with it, just dont be suprised if it does cause problems at a later date. for the sake of £20 and next day delivery id get a new one.

good luck.
