I'm trying to get the zed insured on a classic policy as i've already got an everyday car.

I've phoned Footman James, Performance Direct and Adrian Flux but they all say they don't insure imports! It's so frustrating as im sure there's not much difference between the uk and jap spec.

Anyone got any recommendations for other companies as it's looking like i'll never get the car on the road.

How did you get it that cheap?I am with Flux 96na fairlady 66 with it as second car nc on the main driver and they charged me nearly £400

I think as soon as you say fairlady they cough and say grey import that will be an extra 300% please sir

One of the Footman James lot? Ha ha

Footman James WILL insure imports. I assume you're trying to do it online as our online system won't quote for them. Give the office a call on 0121 561 6250 and we'll sort it out for you :)
