Hi, has anybody any idea where I can buy just the sandwich plate bolt/thread thing that screws into where the old oil filter goes? my old mechanic lost this and cannot use my cooler unless I find one.

Ebay is your best bet. Make sure you get one with a seal on one side :)

It's not the actual plate, it's the screw that goes in the middle of it to screw it onto the block.

im sure you could find one if you go to a good hardware shop, but then, if you dont know what the old one is it will be tricky lol,

 

if youve got a haynes manual i would thing the bolt and thread dimenssions are in there?

Yes I know but u can not buy the adaptor that you need .... Just buy a new one and charge the garage for it ...
