anyone know what this button does by my gear stick ,,i think its something to do with my clifford alarm anyone got the same thing or seen this before[/img]

that is an alarm code key entry....

You can use it to enter a code to turn the alarm off if you lose the key fob. Or to switch features on and off such as auto alarm etc

I have a Clifford alarm, and that is the key coder for making changes to the alarm (adding FOB's and stuff).

 

what alarm if any do you have fitted?

did you get any paper work/ guides with it?

 

for the most part the fob will activate and deactivate... no real need for it..

nah no intructions just key fobs

well then, I wouldn't bother as it will cost to get an alarm technician to sort it out (if they can).....

along with having the key code you will also need to know what alarm you have so you can get the correct instructions.

however the more complex instructions for adding key fobs and changing other functions are not available to the public (I've looked everywhere).

So you find yourself having to take it to an alarm specialist anyway and from memory they wanted about £40 to add a fob (5 min job).

i will leave it as is then ive 2 key fobs and they both work ,just wonderd what it did,now i know cheers boys
