im looking at doing my interior as a summer project. the main thing im cautious of is the suitability of the adhesive, ive heard of horror stories of people doing it and it peeling off in the next sunny day, infact ive seen it happen. :(

ive tried searching and looking but sod all just conflicting opinions on 3m products, so who can tell me what a good product is to use.

while im on the subject retrimming in leather is obviously very expensive and laboursome. vynal seems a better choice, how strechy/crease resistant is the stuff. ive used self adeshive vynal on my roof bars etc which with a hairdryer was great stuff.

timebond contact adhesive (blue tin from b&q) its the solvent one as its best, use in a well ventilated environment, i remember going round to a 300zx.co.uk members house to help them with there re trim and ended up high as a kite and useless at helping them out lmao!!!!

also make sure they give you the little scrapper blades with them, gives much better coverage then the spray adhesive!

I find cornflakes and milk work well. Stick's like shite to blanket in a bowl anyway :whistling:
