I'm in the process of putting the Z back together. So far the jigsaw is coming together nicely.

However, i've no idea where this came from......

How much dismantling did you do, lol ?

Every last bolt more or less lol.

I bagged and labelled nearly everything but a big bundle went for powder coating. This being one of the parts, and i aint got a clue what it is lol

never seen one of those before. Definately come from the Z?

right side of bell housing near starter motor? i seem to remember a part/bracket similar to it. could be wrong though

worth a try. Keep the suggestions coming

that looks like part of the seatbelt that goes on the bottom of the door

Nope, aint that.

It's definately from somewhere under the bonnet

Any more ideas chaps?

clutch pipe bracket?

From where? It would be handy if it is this, i've ditched the clutch pipe

I,ve had mine apart a couple of times and i don,t recognise it bud :confused1:

2 me it looks like one of the boost metal pipe brackets ... from either side of the rad ...

or from the two earth wire mounting brackets from back of the engine

Nothing to do with the exhaust is it? On the swb i think there could be something similar possibly :confused1: .

The rear section.

Ah Hah! Found it.....

The bigger question is; Why did you bother getting it powder coated?

I know lol! I basically took everything that was ugly to the powder coater. I even hat water pipes powdercoated that have been bypassed lol.

Oh, your front and back wheels are on opposite ways :)

Think we've all done stuff like that mate. lol

Yeah, I know about the wheels. When I got them refurbed they mixed up the rear tyres:thumbdown:

Baz pointed it out to me a while back.

Did u ever find where the part went.

Looks to me like the bracket between the v near knock sensor it bolts to the block and I'm sure to the metal part of the heater hose pipes.

Hopefully you sorted it by now anyhow.

Goodluck.
