What i say is that the car is your own to do with whatever you want and everyone has their own opinion but none are right. If we all left our cars stock then where would the individuality be in that? there is some things though that do receive a 99% vote for being shocking.

I love the oem look so that's what I went for (with a few tasteful upgrades) Like you I think nissan did a cracking job when they designed the z32. However, Gonzo's point is also a valid one. It's your car and if you want to add skirts, bumpers etc then it's up to you. Just do it properly so it doesn't look like stuck on crap

well ive took my skirts off yesterday and the rear bumper and i thought it looked really old. then the neighbors said what have you done it looks awfull .

It lost its aggressive ness and looks really small and high of the ground.

I do like stock zeds well i like all zeds tbh. but for me it has to be kitted to bring them upto date but there is alot of crap out there that just looks awfull :(

My view is the Z is a stunning looking car and you can ruin it very very easily. Not saying that I don't like some body-kits and have seen some things that really do compliment the Z. However beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I'm not a fan of the zed as standard never have been I like bodykits and ott stuff if done right there are a few kinda standard zeds on here that I do like however they are still modified from the original look

I never used to be a fan of bodykits but I've recently altered my Z in the looks department, Bomex front spoiler and D-speed rear spoiler, I dont give a **** what people think, its my car and I'll do what I like to it

love it mate coz its not an ott

as said before on here they are an ageless machine and styled to perfection by nissan and can easily be spoilt IMO by some of the more over the top kits , it very much depends on the look the owner is after..standard with no stone gaurd and sat right on 18s looks the business and modernises the car no end....the other end of the spectrum like Jason's Beast is a true showcar and in its right is a stunning car with the concept he had in mind taken into account..in short i dont think there is any right or wrong with these cars its all personal taste and individual style ......

Not for me really, I prefer the mostly stock look, some nice wheels, and a subtle spoiler, and lots of little tasty things like removing the stone chip etc. Although there are some highly modded zeds out there which are very tastefully done, but to be honest, most of the others are sheds, in my opinion of course, but it makes no difference what anyone else thinks, it's their car, it's a bit like seeing your mates bird, she might have a face like a bag of spanners, but he loves her dearly and he's reet happy! I'd still think she was fugly and laugh at him, but it doesn't really matter :)

I updated mine to a strosek body kit front and rear bumpers and side skirts,

I do like the look of the zed but i thought it looked a little dated having the new kit on its looks very up to date im pleased with it

I see the Z32 as being in a state limbo at the moment, by that I mean that in stock form it looks dated (in the same sense that the Mclaren F1 now looks dated compared to it's younger cousins) but not quite dated enough to look like a true classic. I hope that in 10 - 15 years or so I'll look at it in the same way that I currently look at 240z's etc, until that time a few nice subtle body mods (front bumper/skirts etc) can go some way to bring it right up to date.
