My zed came into the country in 2006 and just stuck my hand in the sun visor pocket and found a japanese receipt and a road toll card!........anybody else found anything japanese in theirs?

Featured Replies

in my jap spec cars, its mainly been coins under the seat rail or under the rear seats. had a receipt once as well but not sure what for as cant read Japanese, also when stripping down the engine out of my first zed i found a dead giant Asian hornet and a locust that had managed to get lodged under the plenum, the hornet was massive (around 4" easily) and im glad it was dead, puts our wasps and hornets to shame that's for sure.

Just to give you an idea of how big they get

Foook - I'm glad that thing was dead as well mate!! Scary....:chris:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Japanese tax disc and some sort of parking permit... at least I think that's what they must be! Then the usual coins under the seat, and flare in my old one.

I found a wee keyring with japanese writing on. Its on the car keys now

I bought a Bongo last week. It was imported in 1998 apparently so my only guess was it had never been cleaned inside since being in this country as I am now the owner of 5000Yen amd a Japanese plastic spoon still in it's wrapper.

LOL - and no-one has mentioned a pair of Japanese schoolgirl's knickers......

......such a claim being all the rage in Fast Car and Max Power etc, back in the late 1990s, when imported cars of all types were their big thing!!!

I've got about 20 coins, a few receipts, car park cards and phone cards, I love rummaging around to see what I can find. Another good place to search is behind the side trims in the boot and reach down behind the rear wheels - found some good tools and stuff down there that have been 'lost' over time :)
