Off to Bradford on Avon in the Z

Have decided to use the Z 'as a car' (instead of a big toy) this weekend and travel from Stafford to Bradford on Avon with my fiancee to see her parents. Instead of using the Citroen C1.The Journey is a 252 mile round trip, mainly M6/M5/M4. So it will be the longest journey I have done in her. I hope to do it on 1 tank which looks like it may be achievable, so I will TRY and take it easy. Wish me luck

You'll be fine mate - my Zx is a weekend toy but I regularly use it for holidays and have coevred up to 1500 miles in a week without issues. Other than the fuel costs of course.....

And yes, you will achieve 252 miles on a single tank. My journey down to Boscstle in Cornwall is 255 miles from my house - I don't hang around believe me:whistling: yet I still get there with fuel to spare.... I have managed almost 300 miles from a tank at a fairly steady 90-110mph (autobahn, not here)...

Had a cracking drive there and back total fuel bill approx 75pounds. Was good to make proper use of her and was much better than going in the C1.

also found another Z just sitting in a barn at the side of the road. IMAG0242.jpg

apparently ages! according to my fiancée brother it has always been there as long as he can remember so 3yrs + as that's how long he has been driving.

Quite sad seeing it just sitting there

Glad you had a great trip mate!!

But sad to see a nice UK spec car going to waste like that - hopefully someone will rescue it......

Jeff - are you looking at this mate...?
