Ive been on a quest to find a spoiler for my build...Ive been racking my brains and searching the net for answers.

Ive even considered having one made but that could turn out even more expensive and a very long process than the one ive found.

Just dont think i can part with nearly £500 for this item. Does anyone know of anything simular or any other designs that would work with my car.

It was between the CSL and the Twinz spoiler but recently the CSL has grown on me.

Thats a very nice spoiler. Why not, get a bodyshop to trim the one you have so that it is low level?

I have thought of that but not sure how much it would cost to mod. The Bomex lip i have would look good if it was altered but not sure if i would be able to remove it without breaking it.

are you leaving your hatch in bare carbon? I like the CSL but how would see it fitting with the c/f boot?

I really like it too but its not worth £500. Wish it was cheaper id have it like a shot

Group Buy!

CLS spoiler is very nice, never seen it before either. Would have either to be honest, slight preference for the TWINZ though as it still retains the rear brake light.

Group buy for either?

Never seen that csl before, I kinda like it but I'd have to see it in the flesh. I don't like the way the black of the rear lights stops so abruptly with fully painted spoilers so I'd have to paint that in. The twinz spoiler is pretty much bang on what I've been trying to create, by modifying a car.mad fibreglass '89 replica jobbie in my garage. Pop round and had a butchers if ya like. Car.mad is also on a mission to create a more 'stylish' version of the oem so keep your eyes peeled. I haven't really got the time to play around with this one so I'll prolly end up buying a twinz myself depending on what he produces.

Hi Joel i might have to come and look at your creation. I heard Car mad is looking into making a modded spoiler i may of already seen it but i havent heard of when car mad will have the spoiler completed and ready for sale yet. :(

The CSL does come with a black plastic strip the same as the Twinz spoiler but they also said it would probably be better to spray it on as the spoiler will need spraying anyway. Pic below from another site discussing the spoiler.

Both nice ive been thinking about the twinz for my own tbh if a group buy came round i certainly be in if it involved a twinz ;)

Would love it if CarMad did a copy of the Twinz spoiler!! Something else to buy off him along with the wheel arches he's hopefully doing!! Come on Dave!!!!

I dislike pretty much every spoiler out there for the Z.....but I really like both of these. Was not familiar with the CSL spoiler, but having trouble choosing between them myself now.

I'm in the same boat as you Dan, the csl is nice but not at that price, ideally the twinz is the style I like as it's pretty much oem but smoothed. As it stands, the twinz seems a pain as there is still no official date for when we could have one and our 'European distributor' twinchip, work out more expensive than just ordering from czp!

to the way twinz want to conduct there disty looks like they never will be sold over here in UK or Europe

I really like the CSL but that's a hell of alot for a spoiler and then you have to get it sprayed. I've had the Twinz one in mind since Yowser posted it a month or so back as I like the original and this is a fresher look for it. Im a bit reluctant to buy anything from them after them being knobs to Jeff when he tried to setup Uk supply.

Have you considered something like my mid or jap.slappers high level carbon wing?

Are you sure?...Twinchip have very competitive prices and definitely the shipping from CZP in the US is going to be very high compared to what Twinchip is offering right now for the UK.

Try checking his website again...There are some UK members who have already ordered a few products ;)

I wish twinchip would just answer their emails,.................. customer service isn't a their strong point
