i was feeling rather smug that i'd bagged a solid low miles z for peanuts. it was an auto tt with faded paint and needing the obvious manual conversion. i dropped lucky on a shared donor car buy, then got cracking with the work planned.na diff/ box, undersealed, suspension change ,air filter the usual. i got this far as i say feeling pretty smug that all this was achieved under the price of 1500. but then i bought dump valves and tonight a short shifter and gearstick top .then next week its the front mount . then the paint.then the wheels............yes i've just come back to reality and realised the car is gonna cost a fortune!!!!!! f**k , afterthought...big brakes!!!! can anyone do me a loan ????
