I presume everyone has gone to bed as I've had no replies (not too sure how this site works). Hope someone will talk to me tomorrow.

I'm up for quite a while yet but I am in the office in Boston.

People don't tend to chat on the forum but scan for interesting topics or replies every time they pass. Check back through the recent post as there is a thread discussing online chatting if that is what you want.

A hummer seems a bit Xtreme to me. Head turning factor 10, thrill factor 10, ease to drive -10 and practicallity -10.

Suggestion- use the 300 as a daily drive and the hummer to hunt down Supras!

Losing the back end is a big problem. Find some big open tarmac on a rainy day and test your limits. It will save your car and maybe yourself.

Hi

If the loss of controll at the rear end you talk about feels like the rear end is skipping from side to side when cornering it seems a few people here have suffered from it and its usually shagged shox or wear to the ball joint in the hicas rack. If your loss of controll around corners comes with smoke and squealing then your right foots too heavy ;-)

Oh and if the Hummer is the thing I am thinking of its a big fat ugly Jeep.

I'm around for a couple of nightshifts!

If the handling dosnt feel right it may be due to wear on the rear Ball joints. I think a couple of guys had them changed and noticed a difference in handling. Plus people tend to drive the Zed like a normal rear drive car i.e. turn into a corner preparing to counter steer. A Zed should make the rear steering adjustments itself. Like Phil said get acccess to some open tarmac a see the difference between taking a corner while letting the HICAS do the work and then taking a corner while correcting oversteer.

Hope this helps

Phil how long are u in Boston? Bring back any Zed bits?

Trev.

I did think about it but I'm on a real tight deadline. (Hence why I'm sat in an office at seven forty on a Sunday night.)

I'm going back to england on Saturday.

I can't really go on a hunt but if you can get something delivered to my office I will bring it back for you.

Nothing bigger than an ECU though please as I don't much fancy bringing an auto box back through Customs!

No probs Phil, I need an MOT and suspension check first mate! Then I'll think of getting some flash parts :-)
