I have done a bit of searching and have found conflicting information on the amount of oil to put in my tt including filter. Anywhere between 3.4 and 4 litres. I don't want to overfill is 3.7 a fair guess ???

I always put 3.5 to start bring the car up to temp and check dipstick fella

One on pass side of engine for, engine oil, one on rear drivers side of plenum for gearbox oil

Yup - close enough! I have a UK spec TT with the larger oil cooler and when my garage does the oil/filter change, I give them 4 litres of Shell Helix Ultra. When I collect the car they always give me the container back with a couple of hundred mil left; and the dipstick shows full.....!

Well the oil change went reasonably well . approx 3.7 litres of Fuchs pro s and a k+n filter. The filter took a bit of wrist strength.

I managed to snap my number plate in two. I then had to find my passport a utility bill, my licence and the log book to get the local motor factors to do it.

They don't need all that on eBay. At least my numberplate looks a bit tidier now as it was held on by two dodgy bolts and a bit crooked.
