That is pretty good. Most of my journeys are long distance and I average about 300 on a tank, however just picking up on Shell V-Power, I have put that in a few times and ended up with 250 on a tank! I stick with the BP high octane stuff (can't remember what it's called) and I get straight back to 300 per tank again.

not vpower lol, just budget juice lol. and the secret was driving like a right granny lol! ive been doing about 50 miles an hour on the commute to denbigh each day, and except for the couple of occasions where some boyos in rice mobiles have overtaken me, and i had to sort them out lol (damn child i am lol) ive been very well behaved lol. im so skint at the moment i couldn't afford not to be lol. not going into boost at all lol. ive hopefully sorted out a work van now (cheers Keith) but ill try driving it for a week on rocket fuel and see if i get any difference :-)

when I first got my TT i went to my brothers in carluke,in scotland,so from my house in corby to his is 331miles,drove around the town and the odd journey here and there,I racked up another 60 miles,so that was 390miles all in I kept to the speed limit most of the time and the odd blast to over take, and I still had mtion lotion in the tank and that was on morrisons cheapo on the way up,I didnt have to put juice in untill i came home

i can drive to my grandpaents about a 80 mile round trip maybe more does pretty well. i drov eto warminster and back on about 30 quid with some left.

I normally see 250-ish miles between fill ups (about 60-65 litres), IE when the light comes on........

.....but I have managed 300 once; driving back from the Lake District - and I wasn't hanging aroung either......:whistling:

But like Yowser says, from a complete tankful, it is still under 20mpg so anything around 21-23 is good in my book for a twin turbo ZX...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

In all reality we drive a japanese sports car with either the N/A 3.0 or the TT do we really expect great fuel consumption , If we did we would'nt drive them, lol

If it was truly a full tank (72 litres) then thats only 19 mpg.

it was petrol light to petrol light. i know its not amazing lol. but its a 3 litre V6 twin turbo lol! i thikn i usually get around 15mpg lol

Just rolled in last night, the light had been on permanent for 5 miles with 326 on the clock. First time I've ever seen the light too. I currently do a 140 mile round trip 3 days a week to client site. Strangely, I seem to get more MPG sat at 85 on cruise that at 70. Using BP Ultimate. I'm generally getting 25mpg.

what sort of roads are you on?

Come on guys - now you're sounding like Prius drivers talking about the stupid "economy" indicator that glows green if you're good and red if your bad with the throttle (or what ever stupid girly crock of a car that has it - LOL)......

.....In contrast, my 3.5 litre daily driver has an average speed indicator - and funnily enough when I have that displayed on the dash, I seem to get to my destination a whole lot quicker. It still manages much better fuel economy than the ZX though; not that it's relevant on a 300bhp+ V6....

ive also found this, much better at 80 than 70 odd.

Out of the 140miles, 20 are on reasonable A road the rest on the motorway.

My TT is my daily driver,

I go maybe 20 miles per day of Mway and a bit of town to get to work. Im over the moon if i get 210 miles out of a tank. Out of interest i agree with ZXTT it does seem to go further on BP Ultimate rather than V power.

Only problem for me is that the closest BP garage is classed as a services so BP ultimate is £1.54 per litre :( :( :(

I've not tried V-power recently. Luckily I have a few non-services BP garages on my route so not too bad. I've tried the Tesco momentum now and again and can't say I've noticed it any better than regular unleaded.

Went on the bike today, forgotten how noisy was in relation to being in the car. Still no £6 parking fee.

I brimmed my tank with total excellium and drove 84 miles to work on the motorway with 10 miles of zooming about at each end. I brimmed it again to find I had used 14.25 liters of fuel. That's 26mpg I didn't expect anything as good as that I reckon I could stretch to 28 if I drove like a girl. I was using the boost gauge as a fuel consumption meter and found 80 a good speed.

Mine is always on or under the line recently, there is about at least a tenner still in when the light comes on lol
